Troubleshooting Installation

The RSS Reporter web location step of the setup requires you to select a website under which the RSS Reporter UI components will be installed.

If the Websites selection list is empty, a component named "IIS Management Console" needs to be added on the computer on which RSS Reporter will be installed. To add the IIS Management Console, do the followings:

Open the Windows Control Panel and click on the link “Uninstall a program”

In the Program and Features window, click on the link “Turn Windows feature on or off”

Expand Internet Information Services, Web Management Tools and the check the component IIS Management Console

Click OK to start the installation

Once the IIS Management Console is installed, you can restart the RSS Reporter setup.
